Favorite BARC Event: For­est of Need­wood Race and Fright Night: A Walk On The Dark Side

The Haunted Hayride has become a sta­ple for Fright Night: A Walk On The Dark Side. In 2006 there was a group of young girls about 10–13 years old on one o trip and mid­way through the trip to the Haunted House sev­eral scary spooks come out of the woods and climb onto the wagon. The screams and look of fear on these young ladies as they hud­dled with each other not know­ing what was next going to hap­pen to them on the ride was priceless.

The For­est of Need­wood Race in 2007 was another price­less moment, because it was the day after the biggest snow­fall of the win­ter and the ded­i­cated run­ners ran down Lee’s Lan in 20 F tem­per­a­tures with the wind blow­ing at 30 mph. They could barely see the road, but that didn’t stop them from running!
